Applications > Remote Applications (CAM Level)

ZW3D provides remote control functions that allow you to Add, Edit or Remove executive API or scripts accessing ZW3D，using the menu Applications > Remote Applications under CAM level.

Add Remote Application

Add Remote Client Form

• Client Application Name
  Name of the application
  
  
• Server Computer Name
  Name of the computer that the application is running on or "local" if on same computer as ZW3D. If "local" then ZW3D will start the application if it is not already running, otherwise the application needs to be running on the remote computer for ZW3D to communicate with it.
  
  
• Executable Path
  Full path to the application if on local computer (Ex: d:appssample.exe). If the application is a Perl script then this needs to be the full path to the Perl executable (Ex: C:Perlbinperl.exe).
  
  
• Executable Arguments
  Arguments to be passed to executable, or the script name to be passed to Perl (Ex: d:appssample.pl)

Edit Remote Application

Use this command to edit a remote application that has already been added to the Remote Applications Menu.

1. Select the remote application from the list and then pick OK.
   
   
2. Modify the fields listed in the table above for the Add Remote Client Form and then pick OK.
