Record Point data

Applications > Measurement > Romer CimCore
Applications > Measurement > MicroScribe

Use these commands to reverse engineer physical objects by recording point data to a file that can be loaded into ZW3D. The command for both Romer CimCore and MicroScribe work in the same manner.

First specify a filename that will be used to save the point data. Then the following Recording Options Form appears. It has the option "Use scan mode." If you pick Yes, then points will be recorded continuously as long as the record button is being held down.

If you pick No, then only a single point is recorded every time the record button is pressed. The button layout is: button 1 and button 3 stop the recording process, button 2 records a point.
